Diane Jamieson, LPC

Diane Jamieson has been working in the mental health field in a variety of settings for over thirty years. In her work she sees the relationship between therapist and client as the most important aspect in the therapy. Trust, honesty, humor, compassion, and a respect for the change process are all integral to her work with others. She has a Masters Degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor. She has worked extensively with people with alcohol and drug problems as well as by those affected by someone else’s substance use. She is also experienced in working with late adolescent/early adult developmental issues, women’s issues, grief and loss, and stress management.


Dennis Strandson, LPC

Dennis Strandson  is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He has a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Boston University,
He offers confidential counseling services specializing in men’s issues with emphasis on developing insight and skills for successful self management. He has over twenty five years of experience in the helping professions including work and education in the field of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counseling. 
 He is available Monday through Friday late afternoons and evenings as well as Saturdays.
He looks forward to assisting you with your personal goals and mental health needs.

Christina Parham, LADC

Christina is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor and certified co-occurring disorder professional working in the field since 2004. Alumni of University of New Haven, she has a graduate degree in community psychology with a concentration in forensic psychology. Christina specializes in acute adult and adolescent addiction issues and she also offers treatment for depression, anxiety, anger management and trauma related difficulties. Her approach is client centered while identifying a specific treatment plan that will motivate and strengthen a positive belief system to encourage recovery. She is skilled in helping clients identify objective personal goals in therapy and helping them to achieve them through consitent and compassionate support. She is well versed in facilitating group, individual, and family counseling services and offers early morning appointments to accommodate before work and school hours as well as late evening and weekend hours.  

Laurie DesLauriers, LADC

Laurie Deslauriers completed her graduate studies at Springfield College obtaining a Master’s in Social Work, with an emphasis in Aging and Loss. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Eastern Connecticut State University where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Sociology. Laurie is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Additionally, she is certified in Co-Occurring Disorders. Laurie retired from the Connecticut Department of Correction with 20 years’ experience in the criminal justice field where she obtained numerous certifications and awards.  As a Correctional Substance Abuse Counselor, Laurie has vast experience as a Group Counselor, Individual Counselor, Peer Mentor Counselor, and as a Clinical Supervisor in a modified therapeutic community. Laurie has facilitated training and assisted as a member of a team which developed the curriculum for a therapeutic community within the Connecticut Department of Correction.  Laurie is currently the Admissions and Discharge Planner Director for a local Nursing Home. Laurie is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.


Claire Signore, LADC

Claire Signore is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She has worked in field of behavioral services in varied settings for over 30 years including inpatient psychiatric services, residential recovery rehabilitation, and outpatient substance use treatment.  Addiction and recovery has been her primary focus for the past 20 years. She is also passionate about helping clients with Bereavement and Trauma issues.

Tracy Jennerwien, LICSW

Tracy Jennerwein is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing for almost 20 years.  Tracy has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings. Tracy's emphasis is on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, which she feels is the foundation for change.  Through this, Tracy assists clients as they work through and overcome challenges related to grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions.  She provides individual, group, and family counseling.  Tracy also has a special interest in pet assisted therapy and is looking forward to incorporating this intervention into her work, along with her yellow lab, Takoda, for those who would find it beneficial.  Tracy is available Monday-Thursday, late afternoons and evenings.
